Company Brief History

Founded in 1977 by Mr. Alberto Dy Ong in San Jacinto, Pangasinan, Oriental Sales Center and Contractor began operations with the production of aggregates and hot-mixed asphalt. From these humble beginnings, the company steadily grew into the construction industry, delivering quality engineering solutions across the Ilocos Region.

A breakthrough came in 2000, when the company was awarded its first major government contract, paving the way for larger-scale projects. By 2003, operations expanded with the establishment of the Malued Office in Dagupan City, strengthening its presence in Pangasinan.

In 2008, leadership transitioned to Mr. Gilbert C. Ong following the passing of Mr. Alberto Dy Ong, ensuring continuity and resilience. This ushered in a new era of growth, marked by the 2011 expansion into Northern Luzon.

Continuous improvement defined the next decade.  The company invested in modern equipment, upgraded facilities, and launched workforce training programs in 2018.  Between 2017 and 2020, Oriental Sales Center and Contractor achieved ISO 9001 certification, underscoring its commitment to international quality standards.

On 14 July 2025, the company secured its PCAB Category AAA license, affirming its capability to undertake the largest and most complex projects in the country.  This was followed in 2026 by certification under ISO 9001:2015, further strengthening its reputation for excellence.

Today, with the renewal and updating of our PCAB license, we remain steadfast in our mission: To deliver high-quality construction and engineering services through operational excellence, stakeholder collaboration, strict compliance, skilled competence, accountable ownership, and continuous innovation, ensuring safety, reliability, and client satisfaction in every project.
